Chewbacca's Birthday

March 5th, 2009,

I turn 24 years old this month.
I don't know my exact date of birth, though.
As you know, 24 is an extremely old age for wombats.

I hope you'll enjoy the scene of my moving back and forth from the room seven times.
Please take a look at my light step, too.

I slept a lot and walked a lot.
I was a healthy old wombat today.

I hear my hair loss didn't look as obvious today.
I wonder if it stained light brown with wet soil since it has been raining
for a couple of days?






A lot of sweet potatoes and carrots visited me and celebrated my birthday!?

"Happy 24th birthday, Chewbacca!"

I slept for a long time in the early afternoon.
I sometimes changed my position, though.

Soon after I got up, I went toward the room.

Though I know that the door doesn't open yet, .......

Arrived at the stage

While I faced forward for five minutes or so, I felt so sleepy.

I suddenly turned around.

Chasing the keeper
around 15:00

When I heard the keeper's footsteps, I got restless, and walked about.
　

　

　

　

Looking for the keeper, I've arrived at the gate.

Since the keeper has left, I played with the bamboo pole a bit.
　

　

When I was going on the stage,


I thought I heard the keeper's footsteps.


I went toward the fence.

I wonder if I heard wrong?

Two wallaroos were relaxing in front of my room.

Since I got irritated, I dashed for them.


I couldn't find the keeper.

Though I went and checked the room, I soon headed to the stage after grooming.

I went to the gate and pulled it, but no one came.

I was sure that the door would open soon.
