New Year's Chewbacca　2008

A Happy New Year!

I'm doing well.

January 2nd,
Today was my first working day of the year.
I'm sure I worked hard.

This year is the Year of the Mouse(or Rat).
Do you remember I told you that the visitors sometimes took me,
a wombat, for a boar last year?
You know they mistake me for a mouse(rat), too.
Actually a couple of visitors called me a giant mouse today.

I'm different from a mouse or a rat,
because I'm not a rodent, I am of the wombat family and I am herbivorous,
I'm telling you.

I was sleeping in my hut in a good form.
It is comfortable for me to rest here in the sunny hut
at this time of the year.

I moved to the sunny fence at 13:50 and I almost sleep.
　

　

　

I'm on the stage

I went on the stage a couple of times today; not the bed but the stage
since I didn't fall asleep. I sometimes closed my eyes, though.

I went off the stage.

I moved to the concrete floor at 14:20.
I was walking and grooming, and stood upright, too.
　

I scratched my backside against the stone.
